Halloween is almost upon us and for many this is a time to enjoy the creepiness of this holiday. We have an array of things we do to celebrate Halloween and its season. From decorating our homes, dressing up, watching scary movies, and even going to haunted houses. In Georgia, there’s a lot to do if you love being scared and entertained at the same time. No matter what part of Georgia you live in, most likely there’s a haunted house in driving distance. Below are 11 haunted houses in Georgia for you and you family to visit this weekend.
Terror Mills Haunted House in Jackson
The hours are from 7pm to 11pm on Thursday night and For Friday and Saturday, they are opened until midnight. The cost is $20, and you can visit their website for more information. It is located on 820 North Mulberry Street. Step into the halls of an abandoned school at Terror Mills Haunted House. Savannah Terrors
Savannah Terrors is in Savannah of course. They welcome all ages, and they are opened everyday of the week. The cost is $25 and for more information you can check out their website. It is located on 127 Abercorn Street in Savannah. Savannah Terrors is the #1 rated ghost tour in Savannah. Riddled with historic cemeteries, stories of war from the Revolutionary and Civil Wars, the “Hostess City of the South” is as haunted as it is charming. Deep in the swampy beginnings of the 13th and final Colony, death, disease, war, and melancholy Indian spirits laid the foundations for the ghosts of Savannah to haunt all who tread here. Buford Corn Maze & Haunted House
This one is not too far from where I’m living. It is located on 4470 Bennett Road in Buford, Georgia. This is a great place to go for the entire family. I’ve never been to the haunted house but have for other activities. The last day for the Haunted Forest is on November 5th. The Buford Corn Maze is open throughout the week. Check out their website to see all the activities they have and purchase your tickets. The 20-minute haunted attraction comes alive at night and takes guests through a winding maze inside and out. The Haunted Forest is not recommended for children under the age of 8, unless accompanied by an adult. There’s also a “chicken route” for those too scared to take the full challenge!
Haunted Corn Maze at Copper Creek
The Haunted Corn Maze at Copper Creek is in Calhoun, Georgia and the address is 1514 Reeves Station Rd. SW. This is another place to take the entire family for all the activities for kids of all ages. They are open from 12 pm to 10:30 pm and the cost is $28.97 plus tax. Halloween Haunts is a spooky, haunted experience through the Copper Creek Farm corn maze after dark. You will only be guided by the moon… Be prepared for a little Halloween fun with your family and friends or brave the rows of corn alone for some seriously spooky fun!

The Ringgold Haunted Depot is in Ringgold, Georgia on 155 Depot Street. They have broken down costs into the 3 things they offer. Haunted Depot is $15, Ghost Ride costs $7 and the Hayride is $5. You can just pay $23 and just enjoy everything they have to offer. The Ringgold Haunted Depot has something sure to spook, shock, and surprise everyone! A perfect destination for all fright levels, Ringgold’s Halloween offerings don’t stop at the Depot.

The Nightmare’s Gate Haunted House is in Douglasville and it’s located on 2844 Longview Drive. The fee is $35, and you can call or visit the website to get your tickets. The Haunted Trails @ Old Car City USA is in White, GA. It is located on 3098 Hwy. 411 NE, and it was voted top overall Halloween Attraction in 2022. Admission is $25 cash per person and $28 if you’re paying with a credit card. The cars are buried in miles and miles of worn trails. There is a story for each car that you can only imagine how it came to rest in this Rust & Chrome graveyard. As you walk in the forest your ears will come ALIVE with vivid haunts of these old cars past. Will you be BRAVE enough to take this challenge at NIGHT!!??? People say during the daylight these trails and cars come alive. Imagine what the NIGHT will bring.
Screamz Haunted Experience
The Screamz Haunted Experience is in Hoboken, GA and it is located on 4902 Main Street East. General admission is $20 per person, and it operates from 8pm to 11 pm. Screamz Haunted Experience is located on what was once a working family farm in the heart of Hoboken, Georgia. In 2018 it was turned into Screamz Haunted Experience which now includes a Haunted Museum, Haunted Forest, and Haunted Field. All three attractions are included in the cost of your ticket.
Camp Blood
The award winning Camp Blood is in Carrollton, GA on 2277 Whooping Creek Road. One thing you need to know is they only accept cash payment. You are encouraged to purchase the Scream Pass due to a possible 3 hour wait. The establishment is haunted by hillbillies and dead rednecks. Camp Blood also raises money for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta to purchase toys at Christmas for all the kids in the hospital.
Lake Joy Trails of Tears
Lake Joy Trails of Tears was voted top Halloween Attractions in 2016 and 2021. This attraction is in Kathleen, GA and it’s located on 428 Lake Joy Road. Regular admission starts at $25 and it’s an extra $15 for the added experience. They offer discounts for military personnel, nurses, police, and firefighters. Come out for the scare of your life at Lake Joy Trails of Terror! The haunt is in the woods, be prepared to walk, and wear closed toe shoes. Dark areas, come prepared to be scared. Remember this is the woods and mother nature is out in the woods, also roots, unlevel ground that is how mother nature plays.
