Cypress Hill Insane in the Brain for Throwback Thursday

Cypress Hill Insane in the Brain for Throwback Thursday

Welcome to another Thursday as that mean we are closer to the weekend. My playlist started with the amazing How I Got Over joint from the Roots. It’s Almost Dry, which is the new joint from Pusha T was next. There were albums played by the late, great Prodigy and Future also. The Mixtape Messiah 4 by Chamillionaire also made the list and with the History joint from Michael Jackson. Those were just a few albums that made the list this past week. The final album that was played and will be a part of my Throwback Thursday is Black Sunday. Black Sunday is the second album from the legendary Cypress Hill. The album would eventually sell well over three million copies. The first single off the album is called Insane in the Brain, which is a hip hop classic.

Cypress Hill is still putting out quality music 30 years after their debut album. They put out their tenth album, Back in Black last month and it’s a good album. They are the first hip hop group to have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Insane in the Brain went gold and you could hear this track in arenas at times. Cypress Hill is one of the more underrated rap groups ever. They will take part in the Verzuz battle with Onyx on May 14th, which should be great. Check out the video for my Throwback Thursday track Insane in the Brain up above. Below you can find the track listing and stream link for the Black Sunday album.
