Eminem Stan for Throwback Thursday

Eminem Stan for Throwback Thursday

Welcome to another Thursday as that mean we are closer to the weekend. My playlist picked up this week with a lot of gems being played. Life is Good from Nas kicked things off and it was followed by the Gang Related Soundtrack. Kingpin Skinny Pimp and Disc 2 of my personal UGK Greatest Hits was next. My personal Greatest Hits for Jay-Z Volume 1 followed and The Wild by Raekwon came after. The new joint from Lupe Fiasco and Supa Dupa fly by Missy Elliott followed. As you can see, there were a lot of great music on my playlist for the week. I’ll go in another direction for my Throwback Thursday and it’s none other than Eminem. Eminem just announced the release date for his Curtain Calls II: Greatest Hits album. The Marshall Mathers LP was also on my playlist this week.

The Marshall Mathers LP went Diamond and has sold over 12.5 million copies in the United States alone. The album took home Best rap Album for 2001 and the Real Slim Shady won best rap solo performance. In 2013, Eminem released The Marshall Mathers LP 2. Many believe this is the best overall album from Eminem. There were five singles released from the album and one of them is my featured track. Stan was nominated for a plethora of awards and actually sold four million copies by itself. Stan is one of the dopest hip hop records ever and it’s my featured track. Check out the amazing video for Stan up above. Below you can peep the track listing and stream link for the Marshall Mathers LP.
