Ghetto Mafia Facts of Life for Throwback Thursday

As we continue to celebrate the 50th anniversary of hip hop I’m going to highlight some forgotten classics. Last week, we gave some shine to Kilo Ali and his classic Baby Baby. We are going to stay in Atlanta and take you back to the Ghetto Mafia. Ghetto Mafia hit the scene back in 1994, which was the same year Outkast dropped Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik.   Ghetto Mafia released their Draw the Line album on April 26th which is the same day Outkast dropped Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik. Nino and Wicked formed Ghetto Mafia and their Draw the Line joint was an Atlanta classic. The only feature was from the legendary late, great MC Breed. The album was released independently so it didn’t get the coverage many albums did in 1994. Draw the Line had plenty of bangers on their underrated classic.

Life of a Sniper, Everyday Thang in da Hood, Mr. President, Real Motha and the featured track are some classic. The featured track is Facts of Life and it’s their deep song from a rather hard album. Facts of Life is my Throwback Thursday track. The name of the song says what it’s all about and it’s just a dope track. Check out the track up above for Facts of Life. Below you can peep at the track listing and stream link for the Facts of Life album.
