In 1998, No Limit Records was running the rap game by dropping albums about every other week. Two weeks ago was the 25^th anniversary of Big Ed releasing his debut album The Assassin. Unfortunately, Big Ed would pass away less than three years after his album dropped. Two weeks later, No Limit Records released the debut album from Magic. Sky’s the Limit from Magic turns 25 years old today. Magic was also a part of TRU Records which was the label C-Murder had. Magic appeared on several No Limit albums like Life or Death, Da Last Don and Shell Shocked. Sky’s the Limit didn’t have a single nor any promotion outside being in other No Limit albums. The album was another success for No Limit. It debuted at number 15 on the Billboard 200 and number 3 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums.

Sky’s the Limit went on to sell over 105,000 copies in the first week. Sky’s the Limit is a good album and Magic was a dope rapper. Unfortunately, Magic passed away back in 2013 due to a car accident. Magic passed away along with his wife in the accident.
