Welcome to another Thursday as that mean we are closer to the weekend. With this being Easter weekend, most people will have 3 days off from work. My playlists this week started with the Back For the First Time by Ludacris and Teflon Don by Rick Ross. Magna Carta from Jay-Z and a personal Eminem Greatest Hits was also played. With this being a short week there wasn’t much played as you can see. The final joint was the ATLiens project by Outkast. ATLiens was their second album and follow-up to the Southernplayalisticadicadillacmuzik classic. The double platinum classic has been listed amongst the greatest hip hop albums ever. ATLiens won plenty awards as they released three dope singles off the album. Elevators, ATLiens and Jazzy Belle were the singles and they were three of the best tracks off the album.
My featured Throwback Thursday is Jazzy Belle. The album version is great, but the video version with Babyface is amazing. Jazzy Belle wasn’t as popular as some of their other singles but it’s another dope Outkast record. Last August 27th, it will mark the 25th anniversary of the release of ATLiens. Check out the video for Jazzy Belle up above. Below you can peep the track listing and stream links for the ATLiens album.
