The Untouchable by Scarface Released 25 Years Ago Today

Scarface is viewed by many as one of the greatest rappers to ever touch the mic. Scarface hit the scene with the Geto Boys back in the late-80s. They was considered one of the more influential groups of that era. You will find them on many lists as greatest hip hop greatest of all-time. Scarface went solo with his Mr. Scarface is Back album that went gold. Mr. Scarface is Back is considered a classic and an album you’ll find on best ever lists. In 1993, Scarface dropped his second album, The World is Yours. The World is Yours also went gold and solidified Scarface as one of the dopes in the game. The following year, Scarface released The Diary and many consider it his best album.

The Diary went platinum and received a perfect rating from the Source magazine. Two and a half years later, Scarface dropped his fourth studio album called The Untouchable. The Untouchable by Scarface was released 25 years ago today. The album boasted major features like 2Pac, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, Too Short, Roger Troutman and a few others. The Untouchable became his second consecutive album to go platinum. Smile featuring 2Pac was the only single released and it was his first to go gold. The album also became the first Scarface project to debut #1 on the charts. My top 5 tracks are Smile, Mary Jane, Game Over, Money Makes the World Go round and Southside.
