Who Is My Top 5 WRs in the NFL for 2022

The quarterbacks and running backs are out of the way so let’s look at the wide receiver position. The league has some dynamic wide receivers, and they can change the game for many teams. With the addition of A.J. Brown, the Eagles have become favorites of many to win the NFC East. Davante Adams being traded to the Las Vegas Raiders is also viewed as a game changer. We saw last year the kind of season Cooper Kupp had as the Rams won the Super Bowl. Who would you say are the top 5 WRs in the NFL? Below let’s see who is my top 5 WRs in the NFL for 2022 are?

Davante Adams

Did Davante Adams benefit from playing with Aaron Rodgers? Of course, he did but Rodgers also benefitted with playing with such a great receiver. Adams has led the league in receptions, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns in the last five years. The abilities of Adams will be showcased even more, but I’m thinking the numbers will probably dip. Las Vegas also has Darren Waller and Hunter Renfrow, but this offense should be dynamic and one of the best.

Cooper Kupp

Cooper Kupp had one of the best seasons for a wide receiver ever. Kupp won the triple crown for receiving with 145 receptions, 1,947 yard receiving and 16 TDs through the air. If that wasn’t enough, Kupp was named the Super Bowl LVI MVP in last year’s game. Cooper Kupp benefitted from the Rams trading for Matthew Stafford. Kupp should have another incredible season this year.

Justin Jefferson

Justin Jefferson has put the league on notice entering his 3rd year. Many people thought the Vikings were crazy for trading away Stefon Diggs at the start of his prime. Jefferson has more than eclipsed expectations his first two years with the Vikings. In fact, no one in NFL history has logged more receiving yards in his first two seasons than Jefferson (3,016). Justin Jefferson was my top pick in my Fantasy Football Draft.

Ja’Marr Chase

This was a toss-up between Jefferson and Chase for the 3rd and 4th spot. It’s hard to believe they were teammates on the LSU national championship team. In his rookie season, Chase had a record 1,455 receiving yards. His emergence is one of the main reasons why the Bengals were able to make it to the Super Bowl. Chase will have more eyes on him this season, but he’s still an elite receiver. Year 2 is expected to be just as good, and he could start making claim as the top receiver in the league.

Tyreek Hill

This final spot was as hard as the running back position. Deebo Samuel, Mike Evans and Stefan Diggs all can lay claim to the 5th spot. Tyreek Hill is as fast as anyone that has ever played in the NFL. You can line Hill up in the slot or on the outside because he’s that dangerous. Hill spent the first part of his career in Kansas City and had Patrick Mahomes as his QB. Hill was traded to Miami and his speed will help Tua and the Dolphins. Will he have the same success as he did in Kansas City? Time will tell, but he’s still one of the most dynamic players in the league.
